System status & uptime
Monitoring disabledBacklayer has not opted into network monitoring, so we publish no uptime figures for it. That is a choice about measurement, not a judgement about reliability.
About Backlayer
Backlayer is a European provider selling web hosting, self managed cloud virtual servers and domains, with a team the company says is available at any hour. Virtual servers run on NVMe solid state drives and carry unusually generous transfer allowances, with the entry self managed shape providing one virtual processor, two gigabytes of memory, forty gigabytes of NVMe disk and twenty terabytes of traffic, and the next step doubling processors, memory and disk while keeping the same allowance. Because the range is sold self managed, customers administer the operating system themselves. Web hosting sits well below the virtual line and domains are registered at flat yearly rates across the common extensions.
