These Reviewers' Terms ("Reviewers' Terms") govern participation in the VPS Advisor reviewer program and apply to anyone who submits, verifies, evaluates, moderates, or otherwise participates in reviewing VPS, cloud hosting, virtual server, and related infrastructure providers through VPS Advisor ("Reviewer", "you", or "your").

These Reviewers' Terms supplement the VPS Advisor Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict between these Reviewers' Terms and the general Terms of Service concerning reviewer-specific activities, these Reviewers' Terms will apply to those activities.

By applying to, joining, or participating in the VPS Advisor reviewer program, you agree to these Reviewers' Terms.

1. About the Reviewer Program

VPS Advisor operates a reviewer program to help improve the quality, reliability, and usefulness of provider reviews and ratings published on the platform.

Depending on the reviewer role and permissions assigned to you, you may be able to:

  • Submit provider reviews.
  • Verify or assess submitted reviews.
  • Review supporting information.
  • Identify potentially fraudulent or misleading reviews.
  • Help maintain review quality.
  • Participate in reviewer-specific workflows.
  • Provide structured feedback about providers.
  • Perform other review-related activities authorized by VPS Advisor.

Participation in the reviewer program does not make you an employee, agent, representative, partner, or legal representative of VPS Advisor unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

2. Eligibility

To participate as a Reviewer, you must:

  • Provide accurate information during registration or application.
  • Maintain an account in good standing.
  • Comply with these Reviewers' Terms.
  • Follow applicable VPS Advisor review guidelines.
  • Have sufficient knowledge or experience for the reviewer responsibilities assigned to you.
  • Complete any verification or onboarding requirements applicable to your role.

VPS Advisor may establish additional eligibility requirements for particular reviewer roles.

Meeting the minimum eligibility requirements does not guarantee acceptance into the reviewer program.

3. Reviewer Roles

VPS Advisor may establish different reviewer roles or levels based on experience, reliability, verification status, or platform needs.

These may include, for example:

  • Community reviewers.
  • Verified reviewers.
  • Senior reviewers.
  • Review moderators.
  • Specialist reviewers.
  • Other roles introduced by VPS Advisor.

The permissions, responsibilities, and privileges associated with a reviewer role may differ.

VPS Advisor may change, upgrade, downgrade, suspend, or remove a reviewer role based on performance, reliability, conduct, platform requirements, or other legitimate considerations.

4. Reviewer Account

Reviewers must maintain an accurate account.

You must not:

  • Create multiple reviewer accounts for abusive purposes.
  • Share your reviewer account.
  • Allow another person to perform reviewer activities using your account.
  • Impersonate another reviewer.
  • Misrepresent your reviewer status.
  • Attempt to access reviewer features that have not been assigned to you.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your reviewer credentials.

5. Genuine Reviews

Reviews submitted through VPS Advisor must reflect a genuine experience or legitimate knowledge of the provider or service being reviewed.

You must not submit a review based entirely on:

  • Fabricated experience.
  • Information you know to be false.
  • Another person's experience represented as your own.
  • Promotional material presented as independent experience.
  • Rumors presented as verified facts.

A review does not need to be entirely positive or negative. It should accurately communicate your experience and observations.

6. Accuracy and Honesty

Reviewers must make reasonable efforts to ensure that information they submit or verify is accurate.

When providing factual claims, you should distinguish between:

  • Direct experience.
  • Information provided by a provider.
  • Publicly available information.
  • Technical observations.
  • Personal opinions.
  • Information that has not been independently verified.

You should not present assumptions or opinions as established facts.

If you are uncertain about a factual claim, you should either verify it through an appropriate source or clearly identify the uncertainty.

7. Reviewer Independence

Reviewers are expected to exercise independent judgment.

You must not intentionally manipulate reviews, ratings, rankings, or provider reputation for personal, commercial, political, or other improper reasons.

You must not allow:

  • Personal relationships.
  • Financial interests.
  • Gifts.
  • Discounts.
  • Free services.
  • Employment relationships.
  • Business relationships.
  • Competitor relationships.

to improperly influence your review or verification decisions.

8. Conflicts of Interest

You must disclose relevant conflicts of interest when required by VPS Advisor.

A conflict may exist where you:

  • Work for the provider being reviewed.
  • Own or operate the provider.
  • Have a significant financial interest in the provider.
  • Have a close personal relationship with a provider representative.
  • Work for a competing provider.
  • Receive compensation based on the provider's rating or review outcome.
  • Have another relationship that could reasonably affect your impartiality.

VPS Advisor may prevent you from reviewing or verifying content involving a provider where a conflict exists.

9. Prohibited Incentives

You must not accept or request compensation, gifts, services, credits, discounts, refunds, or other benefits in exchange for:

  • Positive reviews.
  • Negative reviews.
  • Removing reviews.
  • Changing ratings.
  • Favorable verification.
  • Unfavorable verification.
  • Manipulating provider rankings.
  • Suppressing legitimate feedback.

A provider may independently offer promotions or benefits to its customers, but you must not condition your review activity on receiving such benefits.

10. Reviewer Compensation

If VPS Advisor offers compensation, rewards, points, credits, or other incentives to reviewers, the applicable program rules will specify the eligibility requirements and calculation method.

Unless expressly stated otherwise:

  • Rewards are not guaranteed.
  • VPS Advisor may change future reward structures.
  • Eligibility may depend on review quality and compliance.
  • Fraudulent or manipulated activity may result in forfeiture of rewards.
  • VPS Advisor may withhold rewards associated with content under investigation.
  • Rewards may be subject to applicable taxes or legal obligations.

Participation in the reviewer program does not create an employment relationship.

11. Review Quality Standards

A high-quality review should, where relevant:

  • Describe the service actually used.
  • Provide useful context.
  • Identify relevant strengths and weaknesses.
  • Distinguish facts from opinions.
  • Avoid unnecessary personal information.
  • Avoid unsupported allegations.
  • Provide sufficient detail to help other users make informed decisions.

Reviewers should avoid submitting reviews that consist primarily of:

  • Promotional language.
  • Generic praise.
  • Generic criticism.
  • Repeated text.
  • Keyword stuffing.
  • Irrelevant information.
  • Personal attacks.

12. Reviews About VPS and Cloud Services

Where a review concerns VPS, cloud, hosting, or infrastructure services, reviewers are encouraged to provide relevant context where appropriate.

Examples may include:

  • Type of service used.
  • Approximate duration of use.
  • General geographic region.
  • Relevant workload.
  • Service category.
  • General technical experience.
  • Customer support experience.
  • Reliability observations.
  • Performance observations.

You should not disclose confidential information belonging to yourself, the provider, or another person.

13. Technical Claims

Technical claims should be based on reasonable evidence or direct observation.

Reviewers must not fabricate:

  • Uptime statistics.
  • Benchmark results.
  • Network measurements.
  • Speed tests.
  • Hardware specifications.
  • Security findings.
  • Datacenter information.
  • Performance results.

Where a technical result depends on testing conditions, reviewers should avoid presenting the result as universally applicable.

For example, a performance measurement from one location or configuration should not automatically be represented as the provider's performance for all customers.

14. Evidence and Verification

VPS Advisor may request supporting information where necessary to verify a review or investigate suspicious activity.

Depending on the situation, this may include:

  • Service information.
  • Order or subscription information.
  • Screenshots.
  • Technical measurements.
  • Relevant correspondence.
  • Other reasonable evidence.

You should not submit passwords, private keys, authentication tokens, payment-card information, or other unnecessary sensitive information as evidence.

VPS Advisor may provide specific instructions about acceptable evidence.

15. Protecting Sensitive Information

Reviewers must not publish or submit sensitive personal information belonging to themselves or another person unless it is necessary, lawful, and specifically requested for an authorized purpose.

Do not include:

  • Passwords.
  • API keys.
  • SSH private keys.
  • Authentication tokens.
  • Payment-card numbers.
  • Government identification numbers.
  • Private addresses.
  • Private telephone numbers.
  • Confidential business information.
  • Other sensitive credentials.

If sensitive information is accidentally submitted, notify VPS Advisor as soon as possible.

16. Anonymous and Public Reviews

VPS Advisor may provide different levels of reviewer identity visibility.

Depending on the applicable feature, a review may display:

  • Your name.
  • Your username.
  • A reviewer profile.
  • A verified reviewer indicator.
  • A general reviewer designation.
  • An anonymous or partially anonymized identity.

You should review the information displayed before submitting a review.

Even where a review is displayed anonymously, VPS Advisor may retain information necessary to verify the submission, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

17. Reviewer Profiles

VPS Advisor may maintain reviewer profiles containing information such as:

  • Reviewer name or username.
  • Reviewer status.
  • Verification status.
  • Review history.
  • Number of reviews.
  • Reviewer reputation or contribution metrics.
  • General areas of expertise.
  • Other information associated with reviewer activity.

Some reviewer profile information may be publicly visible.

18. Reviewer Reputation

VPS Advisor may use reviewer reputation systems to assess the reliability or usefulness of reviewer contributions.

Reputation may take into account factors such as:

  • Review quality.
  • Review history.
  • Verification outcomes.
  • Community feedback.
  • Accuracy.
  • Consistency.
  • Compliance with reviewer guidelines.
  • Detection of suspicious activity.

Reputation scores are platform-generated indicators and do not constitute professional certifications or guarantees of accuracy.

19. Review Verification

VPS Advisor may label reviews according to available verification methods.

Verification may involve:

  • Account verification.
  • Email verification.
  • Service-use verification.
  • Evidence review.
  • Technical verification.
  • Provider information.
  • Other reasonable validation methods.

A verified review does not mean that VPS Advisor agrees with every opinion expressed in the review.

Verification indicates only that the review satisfied the applicable verification process.

20. Provider Disputes

Providers may dispute reviews or request corrections where they believe information is inaccurate, misleading, fraudulent, or otherwise problematic.

When a provider disputes a review, VPS Advisor may:

  • Request additional information.
  • Ask the reviewer for clarification.
  • Review available evidence.
  • Temporarily restrict visibility.
  • Remove content that violates applicable policies.
  • Leave the review unchanged.
  • Add contextual information.
  • Take other reasonable action.

A provider's disagreement with a review does not automatically mean that the review will be removed.

21. Reviewer Moderation

VPS Advisor may review reviewer activity to maintain the integrity of the platform.

We may use:

  • Automated detection.
  • Statistical analysis.
  • Account activity.
  • Review patterns.
  • Technical signals.
  • Human moderation.
  • Community reports.
  • Other reasonable methods.

Reviewers must cooperate reasonably with legitimate investigations.

22. Prohibited Reviewer Conduct

You must not:

  • Submit fake reviews.
  • Submit reviews on behalf of other people without authorization.
  • Manipulate provider ratings.
  • Coordinate review manipulation.
  • Create accounts to influence rankings.
  • Review providers you have a prohibited conflict of interest with.
  • Accept payment for favorable or unfavorable reviews.
  • Threaten providers with negative reviews.
  • Threaten reviewers with retaliation.
  • Attempt to extort providers.
  • Harass provider representatives.
  • Harass other reviewers.
  • Publish private information.
  • Fabricate evidence.
  • Manipulate technical measurements.
  • Deliberately misrepresent test results.
  • Circumvent reviewer restrictions.
  • Sell or transfer your reviewer account.
  • Use bots or automated systems to generate reviews.
  • Submit AI-generated content as personal experience when doing so would misrepresent the origin or authenticity of the review.
  • Attempt to interfere with VPS Advisor's moderation systems.

23. Artificial or Automated Reviews

Reviews must represent genuine human experiences.

You must not use automated systems, scripts, bots, or other mechanisms to generate or mass-submit fake reviews or ratings.

The use of AI-assisted tools does not automatically make content prohibited. However, reviewers remain responsible for ensuring that every review accurately represents their own experience and does not falsely claim experiences, tests, observations, or evidence that did not occur.

VPS Advisor may restrict content that appears to be mass-generated, deceptive, or designed to manipulate the platform.

24. Review Removal

VPS Advisor may remove, edit, restrict, or disable visibility of a review where we reasonably determine that it:

  • Violates these Terms.
  • Contains fabricated information.
  • Is manipulated.
  • Contains prohibited personal information.
  • Contains unlawful material.
  • Is spam.
  • Creates a security or legal risk.
  • Does not meet applicable review requirements.

We may also remove content where required by law.

25. Review Editing

Where supported, reviewers may be permitted to edit their own reviews.

VPS Advisor may retain previous versions or audit information where necessary for:

  • Fraud prevention.
  • Dispute resolution.
  • Security.
  • Moderation.
  • Legal compliance.

Editing a review must not be used to manipulate ratings or conceal fraudulent activity.

26. Reviewer Appeals

Where a reviewer account, review, rating, or contribution is restricted or removed, VPS Advisor may provide an appeal process.

An appeal may require the reviewer to provide:

  • An explanation.
  • Relevant evidence.
  • Clarification of the circumstances.
  • Information necessary to verify the contribution.

Appeals may be reviewed manually or through other appropriate procedures.

VPS Advisor's decision following an appeal will generally be final within the platform, subject to any rights available under applicable law.

27. Confidentiality

Reviewers may receive access to information that is not publicly available as part of their reviewer activities.

You must not disclose or misuse confidential information obtained through the reviewer program.

Confidential information may include:

  • Internal moderation information.
  • Private reviewer information.
  • Internal provider communications.
  • Unpublished platform data.
  • Security information.
  • Internal review decisions.
  • Information relating to investigations.
  • Other information identified as confidential.

This obligation continues after your participation in the reviewer program ends where the information remains confidential.

28. No Unauthorized Provider Contact

Reviewer activities must not be used to harass, threaten, pressure, or improperly influence providers.

You must not represent yourself as an employee, representative, investigator, regulator, or legal representative of VPS Advisor unless expressly authorized to do so.

If VPS Advisor authorizes you to contact a provider as part of a specific review task, you must accurately represent your role and follow the instructions provided.

29. Reviewer Independence From Providers

A provider may respond to reviews, dispute content, or provide information to VPS Advisor.

Reviewers must not allow provider pressure to determine the outcome of an independent review.

Similarly, reviewers must not use their position to pressure providers into changing, removing, or compensating them for a review.

30. Reviewer Activities Outside VPS Advisor

Nothing in these Terms prevents you from independently reviewing or discussing VPS providers elsewhere.

However, you must not represent external activities as official VPS Advisor activities unless you have authorization.

You must also avoid using confidential information obtained through VPS Advisor for unauthorized purposes.

31. Intellectual Property in Reviewer Contributions

You retain ownership of intellectual property that you own and lawfully contribute to VPS Advisor.

By submitting a review or other reviewer contribution, you grant VPS Advisor a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, display, distribute, adapt, format, moderate, analyze, and otherwise use the contribution as necessary to operate, maintain, promote, and improve VPS Advisor.

This includes the right to display reviews through:

  • Provider profiles.
  • Search results.
  • Ratings.
  • Comparison pages.
  • Review summaries.
  • Reports.
  • Other VPS Advisor interfaces.

32. Reviewer Recognition

VPS Advisor may display reviewer badges, levels, rankings, or other recognition based on participation or contribution.

These indicators are controlled by VPS Advisor and may be changed or removed.

A reviewer badge does not constitute a professional license, accreditation, certification, or guarantee.

33. Rewards and Benefits

If VPS Advisor provides reviewer rewards, benefits, points, badges, or other incentives, the applicable program rules may establish:

  • Eligibility.
  • Qualification requirements.
  • Reward calculations.
  • Maximum rewards.
  • Redemption rules.
  • Expiration.
  • Restrictions.
  • Disqualification conditions.

VPS Advisor may investigate suspicious activity before issuing rewards.

Rewards associated with fraudulent or prohibited activity may be cancelled.

34. Taxes

Where reviewers receive monetary compensation or other taxable benefits, the reviewer is responsible for complying with applicable tax obligations unless the law requires VPS Advisor to handle the relevant obligation.

VPS Advisor may request information required to comply with applicable tax laws.

35. No Employment Relationship

Participation in the reviewer program does not create:

  • An employment relationship.
  • A partnership.
  • An agency relationship.
  • A franchise relationship.
  • A joint venture.
  • A fiduciary relationship.

Reviewers are independent participants unless a separate written agreement expressly states otherwise.

You are not authorized to make commitments, representations, or agreements on behalf of VPS Advisor.

36. Expenses

Unless expressly agreed otherwise, reviewers are responsible for their own expenses associated with participation in the program, including:

  • Internet access.
  • Hardware.
  • Software.
  • Travel.
  • Testing services.
  • Provider subscriptions.
  • Other operational costs.

VPS Advisor does not guarantee reimbursement for reviewer expenses unless expressly agreed.

37. Monitoring and Anti-Fraud Measures

To protect the integrity of the reviewer program, VPS Advisor may monitor reviewer activity for signs of:

  • Fraud.
  • Coordinated manipulation.
  • Duplicate accounts.
  • Suspicious review patterns.
  • Artificial activity.
  • Conflicts of interest.
  • Unauthorized access.
  • Other prohibited behavior.

We may use automated systems and human review to identify potentially problematic activity.

38. Suspension of Reviewer Access

VPS Advisor may temporarily suspend reviewer privileges while investigating:

  • Suspected fraud.
  • Review manipulation.
  • Conflicts of interest.
  • Security incidents.
  • Policy violations.
  • Unusual activity.
  • Complaints.
  • Other legitimate concerns.

A temporary suspension does not necessarily mean that a violation has been established.

39. Termination From the Reviewer Program

VPS Advisor may remove a Reviewer from the program if the Reviewer:

  • Violates these Reviewers' Terms.
  • Repeatedly submits low-quality or misleading content.
  • Manipulates reviews or ratings.
  • Engages in fraud.
  • Fails verification requirements.
  • Misuses confidential information.
  • Harasses users or providers.
  • Creates a security risk.
  • Misrepresents their relationship with VPS Advisor.
  • Becomes inactive where activity requirements apply.
  • Otherwise creates significant risk to the integrity of the program.

Where appropriate, VPS Advisor may provide notice or an opportunity to appeal.

40. Effect of Termination

When reviewer participation ends:

  • Reviewer privileges may be disabled.
  • Reviewer-specific features may become unavailable.
  • Pending rewards may be reviewed.
  • Confidentiality obligations continue where applicable.
  • Previously published reviews may remain on the platform where appropriate.
  • Public reviewer information may remain available where necessary to maintain platform records.

Termination does not automatically invalidate legitimate reviews previously submitted.

41. No Guarantee of Acceptance

Applying to or expressing interest in the reviewer program does not guarantee acceptance.

VPS Advisor may consider factors including:

  • Experience.
  • Account history.
  • Review quality.
  • Availability.
  • Geographic or technical requirements.
  • Platform needs.
  • Verification status.
  • Trust and safety considerations.

42. No Guarantee of Work or Earnings

Participation in the reviewer program does not guarantee:

  • A specific number of review assignments.
  • A minimum number of reviews.
  • A minimum income.
  • A fixed reward.
  • Continued participation.
  • Access to every reviewer feature.

VPS Advisor may change the volume and nature of reviewer activities according to platform requirements.

43. Data and Privacy

VPS Advisor may collect and process information about reviewers as necessary to operate the reviewer program.

This may include:

  • Account information.
  • Reviewer profile information.
  • Review activity.
  • Verification information.
  • Contribution history.
  • Technical information.
  • Security information.
  • Reward information.
  • Communications.
  • Moderation records.

Our handling of personal information is described in the VPS Advisor Privacy Policy.

44. Security and Credentials

Reviewers must protect any credentials, verification information, or platform access provided to them.

You must immediately notify VPS Advisor if you believe:

  • Your account has been compromised.
  • Reviewer credentials have been exposed.
  • Someone has accessed your account without authorization.
  • Reviewer tools are being misused.

You must not share privileged reviewer access with another person.

45. Relationship With the General Terms of Service

Reviewers remain subject to the VPS Advisor Terms of Service.

Nothing in these Reviewers' Terms permits conduct that would otherwise violate the general Terms of Service.

Where the general Terms of Service impose broader restrictions, those restrictions continue to apply.

46. Changes to the Reviewer Program

VPS Advisor may modify the reviewer program at any time, including:

  • Reviewer roles.
  • Eligibility requirements.
  • Verification methods.
  • Review guidelines.
  • Rewards.
  • Reviewer levels.
  • Available tools.
  • Program availability.

Where material changes affect existing reviewer obligations or benefits, VPS Advisor may provide appropriate notice.

47. Changes to These Reviewers' Terms

We may update these Reviewers' Terms from time to time.

The "Last Updated" date will indicate when the latest version was published.

Where required by law, we will provide additional notice concerning material changes.

Continued participation in the reviewer program after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance of those Terms, subject to applicable law.

48. Disclaimers

The reviewer program is provided on an "as available" basis.

VPS Advisor does not guarantee that:

  • Every review will be verified.
  • Every fraudulent review will be detected.
  • Every reviewer submission will be published.
  • Reviewer rewards will always be available.
  • Reviewer rankings or reputation scores will remain unchanged.
  • Reviewer opportunities will remain available.
  • Provider information will always be accurate.
  • Review decisions will always satisfy every reviewer or provider.

VPS Advisor reserves reasonable discretion to protect the integrity of the platform.

49. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VPS Advisor will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from participation in the reviewer program.

This includes, where legally permitted:

  • Loss of expected rewards.
  • Loss of reputation.
  • Loss of business opportunities.
  • Loss resulting from provider disputes.
  • Loss resulting from review removal.
  • Loss resulting from reviewer suspension.
  • Loss resulting from platform downtime.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

50. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless VPS Advisor and its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from:

  • Your violation of these Reviewers' Terms.
  • Fraudulent or misleading reviews submitted by you.
  • Your misuse of reviewer privileges.
  • Your infringement of another person's rights.
  • Your unauthorized disclosure of confidential information.
  • Your unlawful conduct.

51. Governing Law

These Reviewers' Terms shall be governed by the laws applicable to the legal entity operating VPS Advisor.

The governing law is the law of the jurisdiction in which that entity is established. Where mandatory law in your country of residence gives you rights that this section would otherwise remove, those rights are unaffected, and any proceedings that law entitles you to bring in your local courts may be brought there.

52. Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute relating to the reviewer program, you should first contact VPS Advisor and provide a reasonable opportunity for the matter to be investigated and resolved.

Where a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be handled according to the applicable dispute-resolution provisions of the VPS Advisor Terms of Service and applicable law.

53. Severability

If any provision of these Reviewers' Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the maximum extent permitted by law.

55. Effective Date
