GigaLayer is the hosting brand of Aimtech Communications Limited, a Nigerian company based in Sokoto State that sells domain registration, shared hosting, virtual servers, dedicated servers, colocation and business email to customers in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, Tanzania and Uganda. Its virtual server range is presented as four fixed instance sizes, labelled micro, mini, midi and macro, each pairing DDR3 memory with solid state storage and a metered monthly transfer allowance. A web hosting control panel is offered as an option rather than bundled in. Staff configure a firewall and carry out basic hardening at delivery, monitor the virtual machines daily and answer support requests at any hour. Site builder, cloud DNS, certificates and website backup rounds out the catalogue.
