HostYD is a small hosting brand that sells its services entirely through a self service client portal, offering shared cPanel hosting, managed cloud servers, OpenVZ and KVM virtual servers, and domain registration. The managed cloud line is the entry point to virtual hosting and runs from half a gigabyte of memory with a single virtual core, twenty gigabytes of SSD disk and a terabyte of transfer, scaling through five shapes to eight gigabytes of memory. The self managed OpenVZ containers pair one to three cores with thirty to a hundred and thirty five gigabytes of SSD and one to six terabytes of transfer, while the KVM line starts smaller on disk and transfer. All virtual plans are provisioned on SSD storage behind a forty megabit uplink.
