Swiss Layer
System status & uptime
Monitoring disabledSwiss Layer has not opted into network monitoring, so we publish no uptime figures for it. That is a choice about measurement, not a judgement about reliability.
About Swiss Layer
SwissLayer sells hosting, virtual private servers, dedicated machines and colocation entirely within Switzerland, marketing Swiss privacy law, DDoS filtering and cryptocurrency payment as its central proposition. Its virtual range runs on Intel Xeon E5-2670 processors with solid state storage, opening at two cores with two gigabytes of memory, thirty gigabytes of disk and five terabytes of monthly transfer. Dedicated machines are considerably larger, running from 128 gigabytes of memory with a terabyte of solid state disk and a hundred terabytes of transfer on ten gigabit ports. Colocation is offered with dedicated gigabit links and blocks of addresses. Because every product sits in Swiss jurisdiction, data residency rather than price is the reason most customers choose the service.
