System status & uptime
Monitoring disabledBitHost has not opted into network monitoring, so we publish no uptime figures for it. That is a choice about measurement, not a judgement about reliability.
About BitHost
BitHost, trading since 2014, is a crypto payment front end rather than an operator of its own hardware: it provisions and bills DigitalOcean, Linode and Vultr instances on the customer's behalf and takes payment in cryptocurrency, so the regions and hardware are those three clouds. Its own comparison puts DigitalOcean at 14 regions with 1 GB to 256 GB of RAM from 0.018 USD an hour, Linode at 11 regions with 1 GB to 192 GB from 0.015 USD an hour, and Vultr at 32 regions with 512 MB to 96 GB from 0.018 USD an hour, all on NVMe SSD storage with unlimited traffic and full root access. Larger dedicated CPU shapes are listed up to 40 vCPU with 160 GB RAM, 1000 GB of disk and 9 TB of transfer at 4,756.00 USD a month. Billing is hourly and prices are quoted as a US dollar equivalent. Windows Server is available on Vultr instances only. A command line tool and an API are documented for provisioning, resizing and snapshots. Sign-up requires no identity documents, no real name and no card; payment is Bitcoin, Lightning, Ethereum, XRP, Monero, USDC and a stated 300 or more coins. The provider advertises an uptime figure of 99.9%.
