Hostens is registered in Lithuania and is a division of Interneto vizija, founded in 2003, serving what it says are more than 100,000 clients across six countries with virtual servers in the United Kingdom, Germany, Lithuania, the Netherlands, the United States and Singapore; London, Frankfurt, Amsterdam and Vilnius are named. Unmanaged virtual servers are KVM and OpenVZ on SSD with IPv6, a looking glass and full root access, advertised from 1.20 USD a month, with the published shapes at half-price introductory rates: Small at 1 CPU core, 2 GB of RAM, 20 GB of disk and 4 TB of bandwidth for 7.50 USD a month, Medium at 2 cores, 4 GB and 40 GB with 8 TB for 16.00, and Large at 3 cores, 8 GB and 80 GB with 16 TB for 31.50; daily and weekly backups and cPanel, Plesk or DirectAdmin are optional extras. A managed line on CloudLinux with cPanel and WHM included runs MINI at 2 vCPU, 6 GB and 50 GB with unlimited bandwidth for 50.99 USD a month, MIDI at 4 vCPU and 10 GB for 65.99, and MAXI at 6 vCPU and 16 GB for 90.99. Shared hosting starts at 0.90 USD a month and reseller hosting is sold alongside. The underlying hardware is published, including dual Intel Xeon Gold 6132 nodes with 768 GB of DDR4 ECC and ten 960 GB enterprise SSDs in RAID. Images offered are Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, CloudLinux and Windows Server 2019 through 2025. Bitcoin is taken through BitPay. Sign-up requires verified customer details rather than allowing anonymous registration, and large-storage plans are offered for running a full node.
