Hostwinds is registered in the United States and sells shared, business and WordPress hosting, managed and unmanaged Linux and Windows virtual servers, cloud servers, dedicated servers and colocation across multiple locations, with Dutch capacity among them. Virtual servers run on SSD storage with 1 Gbps ports, snapshots, custom ISO uploads, an enterprise firewall, free website transfer and full root access. Three ladders are published over the same ten shapes, which run from one CPU with a gigabyte of memory, thirty gigabytes of disk and a terabyte of transfer up to sixteen CPU with 96 GB, 750 GB and nine terabytes: an unmanaged Linux line, a managed Linux line and a Windows line, each dearer than the last.
