Host1 AS is a Norwegian hosting company founded in 2009 that sells shared hosting, domains, virtual servers, dedicated servers, colocation and certificates. Its virtual servers run in two Digiplex facilities in Oslo, OSL1 and OSL2, on redundant power, cooling and network, with under a millisecond of latency to the Norwegian internet exchange. Four Linux sizes are published, each with a gigabit connection, one address, root access, console access, SSH and a daily backup included rather than sold separately, and machines are normally available within minutes of payment being registered. Published rates include value added tax and the virtual server line is invoiced quarterly rather than monthly. The company keeps its terms of service deliberately short.
