Private Layer states it has traded since 2010 and runs its own data centre in Switzerland, selling Linux and Windows virtual machines, containers and dedicated servers, all customisable in the cart. Three virtual lines start at 59 USD a month each: Q16, a fast Linux VM with 2 dedicated cores upgradable to 32, 8 GB of dedicated memory upgradable to 256 GB, 100 GB of NVMe upgradable to 1 TB and 100 GB of daily SAN backup, provisioned in five minutes or less; Q17, a storage Linux VM with 5 TB of SAN disk upgradable to 100 TB and a triple copy SAN for instant backup; and Q18, a Windows VM on the same base with Windows 10 and 11 Professional and Windows Server 2012, 2016 and 2019 available, provisioned within 24 hours. Dedicated servers are published per port speed and billing mode: an X8 budget line advertised at 70 per cent less, an X10 line with dual AMD EPYC 7452 processors, 64 GB of DDR4 ECC and 1 TB of NVMe from 299 USD a month metered on 10 Gbps, 339 USD metered on 25 Gbps, 999 USD unmetered on 10 Gbps and 1,599 USD unmetered on 25 Gbps; an X11 midline with dual Xeon Gold 6134 from 299 USD metered on 1 Gbps to 999 USD unmetered on 10 Gbps; an H12 line from 249 USD metered on 1 Gbps to 899 USD unmetered on 10 Gbps; and an X13 enterprise line with dual Xeon Gold 6430 Sapphire Rapids, 32 cores and 64 threads and up to 1 TB of DDR5 from 999 USD metered on 10 Gbps to 4,999 USD unmetered on 100 Gbps. Chassis are Supermicro with up to eight SSD or HDD and four NVMe drives, and memory options run to 1 TB of DDR4 ECC registered. Custom ISO installs are supported and the site advertises network capacity of up to 100 Gbps with BGP. Bitcoin is accepted alongside Dogecoin, Litecoin, Dash, Monero, Ethereum, Zcash, Tether, Tron, USD Coin, Dai, Visa, Mastercard, Amex and PayPal.
